Thank You- Leaf Card

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend. Does your weekend seem to go as fast as mine do? LOL Anyways, I wanted to share a card I made last week with you. This card first started out really really simple. I didn't have the twine on it at first. I thought it looked a little "blah" and threw some of my favorite twine on it and it really made it pop! I love my Timeless Twine!

Here is what I created:

Graduation Card

Hello Twineaholic fans!  Gaby here sharing a graduation card I created for my assistant who is having her big graduation party on Cinco de Mayo/May 5th and all the decorations will be zebra and hot pink! Yes, she is a girly girl!  I will be helping her create center pieces for her party and this card will match just perfectly!!

I used the Strawberry Cupcake Twine which it really matches much much better in person with the hot pink paper (camera did not capture the twine's true color).

Congrats On Your New Job!

Happy Wednessday Twineaholics!

Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, here today to share with you a masculine card I made featuring the Aqua Blue twine.

I don't know about you, but I always have a hard time making masculine cards. I always want to add ribbon and bling! That's what I like about twine, it adds the perfect finishing touch, but isn't feminine.

Here is my card:

Supplies used:
DCWVV "Dots, Stripes, and Plaids" stack
Spellbinders "Curved Rectangles"
Timeless Twine "Aqua Blue" Twine
Sweet Stamp Shop "It's A Mans World" stamp set

For the twine, instead of tieing a bow, I wrapped the twine around the cardstock to mimic the plaid stripes. You can find all the twine colors here.

Aren't the ties cute? They can be found here. Be sure to stop by the Sweet Stamp Shop blog and play along with their challenge for the month.

Thanks for stopping by!

*I love how twine layers onto tulle!!
*Luckily I also had some fishy brads that are great accents.

Red, White, Blue and Some Twine Too!

Hi everyone, it's Kassidy from Inking It Up Crazy! I hope you all had a fantastic Easter weekend! It was such a gorgeous day here in Utah yesterday. It is getting me so excited for some warm weather. One of my favorite holidays is the 4th of July. I love being able to wear flip flops, sunglasses and spending lots of time with family and friends.

I have already started making a few layouts for the 4th of July! Here is one that I made with some fun twine!

Supplies Used:
  • Paper- The Paper Studio
  • Cricut Expression Machine
  • Stand and Salute Cricut Cartridge
  • White Gel Pen
  • Gems
  • Twine (Cherry Red)

I love the extra little detail the twine adds to my layouts. Thanks for visiting! See you all again soon :)

Hugs!

Easter Egg Shirts

Good Friday Twine-aholic/Twine-ology Fans!  Gaby here to share a project!

I was really trying hard to decide what to come up with this time... I knew it had to be something Easter themed that I could finish early so I can send to my grand daughters ...and finally came up with shirts for them!

I was able to use 4 colors of the Timeless Twine!
Used a PTI egg die to cut the egg using felt and my BigShot.
I decorated the eggs with the twine and sew around so hopefully after washing the twine is not going anywhere!
I wanted to decorate the neck line and the sleeve edges, but since I came up with this idea a bit late (wanted to get it out in the mail), I left it at this.

Thanks for stopping by and I do appreciate your comments!

There is still time to enter our Easter Egg and Twine Challenge HERE

Sweet Birthday

Hi Twineaholics!

It's Kathy, from Kathy and Kids, here today to share with you a sweet Birthday card that I made along with a simple way to use some yummy twine colors to add the perfect finishing touch.

Here is my card.

Details:
Patterned paper is from DCWV Glitter stack
Stamped image is "Coquettes Lolli" by Simply Betty Stamps, colored with Prismacolor pencils and odorless minerals spirits
Sentiment is from the Pink By Design "Say It Sweet" sentiment set
Image and sentiment are cut out using a Spellbinders label
Timeless Twine in Lemonade Yellow, Raspberry Pink, and Olive Green

To highlight my stamped image, I took 3 colors of twine and braided them. I then used some quick drying paper glue to adhere it to the edge a little bit at a time. I like to use quick drying glue for this so I don't have to worry about holding the twine in place.

I hope this inspires you to combine your favorite colors!
